Peripheral artery disease is caused by plaque buildup on the walls of the arteries – called atherosclerosis. PAD most commonly occurs in the lower extremities, causing pain, cramping, discoloration, slower hair heart, a reduced pulse, and other symptoms to the legs and feet. Modern Vascular specializes in the diagnosing of PAD and minimally invasive endovascular procedures that treat the disease.

Modern Vascular in Louisville, Kentucky will be the first clinic from the company to open in the state of Kentucky. It will be the eighteenth clinic that the company has opened in the U.S. It is expected to open in the summer of 2022.
