Memphis Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Diagnosis & Treatment
PAD is a chronic disease that can have severe consequences if it is left untreated. Please become familiar with the risk factors and symptoms of PAD to determine if you may be at risk.
If you believe that you may be at risk for PAD you can call (888) 853-1278 to speak with a patient advocate or fill out a consultation request form and a patient advocate will reach out to you. The patient advocate will ask you about your symptoms and risk factors to help you determine your next steps. At Modern Vascular, we are dedicated to eliminating amputations caused by PAD.
Wound Care
Some people may experience wounds that do not properly heal in a reasonable amount of time. These wounds are classified as chronic wounds, which can pose a significant risk if they are not treated. Modern Vascular has a wound care facility at the Modern Vascular clinic in Southaven. Jessica Brown is the nurse practitioner at this facility and she has over 15 years of experience as a wound care nurse. Common wounds treated at our wound care facility are diabetic foot ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, wounds on the legs or feet that do not heal, edema or lymphedema wounds, minor burns, and more.
