TheWayToMyHeart.org has a semiannual conference called "Making the Impossible Possible" with the focus on increasing awareness of peripheral artery disease. This year, their conference took place on the first-ever National Red Sock Day, a day designated to raise PAD awareness by wearing red socks. Kym McNicholas, the co-founder and president of TheWayToMyHeart.org, presented Dr. Stephen Leschak with the "U.S. Patient Champion of the Year" for the year 2022.

Modern Vascular Supports Red Sock Day for PAD Awareness
Los Angeles, February 14, 2022 / The Third Saturday of February has been designated as "Red Sock Day" by TheWayToMyHeart.org, a PAD patient advocacy group from California. February 19th, 2022 will be the official first annual "Red Sock Day" where people are encouraged to wear red socks to promote awareness of peripheral artery disease. Modern Vascular is leading the list in the number of socks ordered - over 300 for their employees nationwide.
